This is a story about a little girl who is always sad. She was sad no matter what she tried whether it was being outside in the fresh air or dreaming great dreams. After going to the doctor, she starts to take some medicine that makes her feel better. It is a book to help kids (and parents) with special problems (in this case, depression or other mental illness) feel better about their differences and learn to accept them.
